Funeral Notice

Mrs. Lillar Mae Higgins, 89, of LaFayette died Monday, September 14, 2015 at Wedowee Hospital, Wedowee.  Funeral services will be held at Hopewell Baptist Church, Milltown on Friday, September 18, 2015 at 1: 00 p.m. (CST) with Rev. Calvin Trammell officiating. The remains will lie instate at the church one hour before the service.  Interment will be in Providence cemetery, Milltown.  Public viewing of the remains will be at Vines Funeral Home on Thursday, September  17, 2015 from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (CST).

Mrs. Higgins is survived by six sons: Willie (Dorothy) Higgins, Jimmy (Nancy) Higgins, Rev. Sanders (Shelia) Higgins and Alford (Priscilla) Hudson all of Milltown, Earnest (Nellie) Higgins, Warner Robins, GA, Benny (Rosa) Higgins, Wadley; two daughters: Myra Higgins, Milltown and Judy (Chris) Daniels, Roanoke; one sister-in-law, Jenell Hudson, Lanett; twenty-eight grandchildren, sixty-seven great grandchildren and twenty-five great, great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
