I had the pleasure of meeting Mrs. McCann when my family moved to Sylacauga in the 80’s. I admired her even at a young age. She was always stylish, well spoken, and a class act. After we moved to Auburn, she and my parents stayed in touch and I would have the opportunity to see her from time to time. Always beautiful inside and out. My thoughts and prayers are with her family during this difficult time.

What a beautiful lady/woman to have known. The Magby family I have known since first grade. Mrs McCann's sister was my first grade teacher and discovered my mom was in school with Mrs McCann. Her mother and my sister worked together as teachers in Five Points. All three women were phenomenal people to know. Mr and Mrs McCann and I worked together at Childersburg H S. As years passed, I didn't see her often, but it was grand when we did gather. To my mentor and Soror you will be missed.

Vivian was a great neighbor and friend. Over the years we shared the loss of those dearest to us, but in those times we continued to maintain our place as ladies carrying on a legacy of love, honor, and dignity, while adding our special touch to our passion for beautiful flowers. She will be missed, but the memories we shared I will cherish always. With heartfelt sympathy to the family

Mrs. McCann was one of the most dignified, classy, and beautiful ladies that I have ever known. We first met at Rehope Baptist Church where we both were members, but I can remember her selling Mary Kay products. She had a Mary Kay Party at my mom’s house Lera Phillips, and this is when I had my first facial and shown the proper way to wear makeup. Mrs. McCann was kind and graceful. She believed in education and she constantly reminded the youth how important it was to get an education. She will truly be missed.

Words can not express Vivian Magby McCann, she was the epitome of class and dignity. She was a classy lady with a definite presence of flair and design. Mrs. McCann was a next door neighbor to me most of my life while residing in Sylacauga, AL. Words will not capture the loss we will feel from her not being here with us. My mom as well as herself had a love forflowers and beautiful landscape, which she worked every spring to create. Your loved one was loved, honored, and respected for the woman she was to the city of Sylacauga and surrounding areas. Rest well queen, you wore your crown well, we were blessed by your love and your presence. Condolences to her family and loved ones.
