Funeral Notice

 

Mr. Elbert Cooper, Jr., 65, of LaFayette (formerly of Flint, MI) died Saturday, June 5, 2021 in LaFayette.  Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 12, 2021 at Sardis Baptist Church Cemetery, 3294 County Road 51, Camp Hill at 1:00 p.m. (CST) with Rev. Michael Winston officiating.  Public viewing will be Friday, June 11, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. (CST) to 6:00 p.m. (CST) at Vines Funeral Home Chapel.  Interment will be Sunday, June 13, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. (CST) in Cooper Cemetery Marbury (Autauga County), AL with Evangelist, Rosa Watkins doing the committal ceremony.

Mr. Cooper is survived by his two sons: Derico A. Cooper, Livonia, MI and Anthony Cooper, Mount Morris, MI; his father: Elbert Cooper, Sr., Prattville; ten siblings: James E. Cooper, Flint, MI, Annette Cooper, Terry L. Cooper and Greta R. Cooper all of Montgomery, Chris Cooper, LaFayette,  Janet L. Cooper, Alexander City, Trina M. Cooper, Frederickburg, VA, Angela Wilkins, Orlando, FL, Michael Cooper, Atlanta, GA and Demario Cooper, Utah; a devoted friend: Linda Broughton, LaFayette, a cherished friend and former spouse, Danita Stewart-Parker, Detroit, MI one grandchild and a host of other relatives and friends.
